Enterprise voice architecture
Design calling across offices, remote users, trunks, gateways, applications and carriers. Account for dial plans, numbering, devices, emergency calling, survivability and administration.
Enterprise, contact center and carrier voice
Wise IT helps organizations assess, design, secure and change voice environments from the user and call flow to the carrier edge. We account for the network, numbering, security, integrations, continuity and operating responsibilities around the platform.
Where we help
The engagement can focus on a design, migration, security concern or stubborn production problem. We document how calls should be handled, which system makes each decision and who owns the result.
Design calling across offices, remote users, trunks, gateways, applications and carriers. Account for dial plans, numbering, devices, emergency calling, survivability and administration.
Map customer entry points, menus, queues, skills, schedules, overflow, escalation and after-hours behavior. Define recording, reporting and integration requirements before selecting or changing a platform.
Work through SIP trunks, TDM services, session borders, routing, numbering, interoperability and carrier responsibilities. Document the handoffs needed to resolve faults across provider boundaries.
Review administrative access, toll-fraud exposure, dial-plan abuse, signaling policy, logging and alerting. Coordinate voice controls with the broader security program.
Inventory numbers, call paths, trunks, devices and integrations. Stage the new system, sequence the port, test real calls and keep a fallback for the parts that can be reversed.
Investigate one-way audio, failed routing, intermittent registration, codec and firewall behavior, carrier disputes and other faults using packet analysis, logs and controlled reproduction.
Technical range
Voice problems often move across a handset, application, call-control platform, firewall, session border controller and remote provider. Protocol-level visibility helps show which system made the decision and what it saw at the time.

A migration plan should cover every important inbound and outbound route, along with the less visible services that tend to appear late. Fax lines, alarms, door systems, emergency locations, recordings and integrations all need an explicit disposition.
Confirm numbers, users, devices, trunks, carriers, applications, integrations and business-critical call flows.
Agree on the future call experience, technical architecture, security controls and support responsibilities.
Configure, stage and test the system. Give users and administrators the guidance they need for the change.
Move services in a controlled window, test real paths and close gaps while the project context is still fresh.
Engagement options
We can provide independent architecture, lead an approved migration, investigate a production issue or take responsibility for a clearly defined part of the ongoing voice environment.
Understand the current environment, call flows, costs, risks and user needs before a renewal or replacement.
Coordinate configuration, testing, carrier work, number porting, cutover and handoff.
Build an evidence-based view of a fault, coordinate the involved parties and document the path to resolution.
Voice systems background
In prior enterprise engineering and leadership roles, João Pedro Albernaz supported security platforms for voice systems in financial, healthcare and federal environments. His work included owning complex escalations, responding to vulnerabilities, coordinating data center changes and resolving interoperability problems across enterprise platforms, gateways and carrier services.
In one earlier healthcare incident, João reproduced a software conflict in a clean lab and helped lead an overnight repair across 14 voice-security appliances without rolling the systems back to a vulnerable release.
About this example: this work came from João’s prior enterprise roles. It is included as relevant experience and is not presented as a Wise IT client engagement.

Talk about voice and communicationsCommon questions
These answers cover the questions that usually need to be settled before the scope is agreed.
Relevant experience includes SIP, RTP, TDM, PRI, ENUM, CUCM, CUBE, Asterisk, FreePBX, Avaya, 3CX, trunks, gateways, session border controllers, contact-center routing and carrier services. The exact scope is confirmed before work begins.
The plan inventories numbers and call paths, confirms porting data, tests integrations, assigns carrier contacts, defines a change window and records validation and rollback steps for important inbound and outbound calls.
The review can cover administrative access, exposed services, SIP trust boundaries, fraud controls, patching, logging, recording access, remote endpoints, carrier escalation and continuity. Requirements vary by platform and call flow.
Yes. Voice problems often cross several providers. The engagement can assign technical evidence, decisions and escalation ownership across the business, carrier, application vendor and implementation team.
